Travel with Me
For as long as i can remember I've had a desire to see the world, the flame was ignited through my grandparents love for travel. My first experience was a summer working in Ibiza, 2009 with my sister Sas and friends. Home never felt the same after this summer. From there we went onto travel the world. This time with my sister and best friend. This chapter led me to Robert, a hippy travel soul like myself, that would turn out to be my true soul mate. The past decade has been filled with the my best memories, a lot of globe trotting creating two beautiful children, our boys Rocco and Byron.
In 2018 we decided to break the rat race and take our eldest Rocco around the world for six months before he started school in 2018, we travelled around Hong Kong, Thailand and Australia extensively, hiring a camper van and truly embodying the experience in every form. The plan was to settle upon return, try for another baby and purchase our first 'proper' family home with a garden and more space. The plan was manifested and became our reality, we worked hard, Robert worked offshore, we had our second baby boy Byron (our favourite spot in Australia) I continued my studies in counselling and my degree in mental health nursing but something didn't feel as calming and fulfilling as we anticipated.
Longing to travel during the pandemic I decided to train as a travel agent and writer, it kept my 'manifesting generator' soul ticking by monetising my love for travel. I'm now lucky enough to contribute to family travel magazines, to be able to rate, review and create content with paid partnerships and coach a team of wanderlust souls to do the same.
As a family of four. We have proven that life does not have to stop with kids. Children don't have to stop you seeing the world. In fact, for us it’s just the opposite. There's something magical about seeing the world through a child's eyes as you'll see via our website, blog, and travel guides.
Our hope is that while landing on our website and gaining some of our ‘world wisdom’ it fills you with confidence to travel with your children, not to conform with society norms and truly live your wildest dreams. Wanna travel more, for less? Ask me how.
